[SOLVED] Problem with headers (i think)

I just finished building the PC. I tried turning it on, and the lights & fans turned on, but the screen of my monitor stayed dark. So I turned the PSU power off and put my anti-static wristband on again.

Then I checked the cables in my PC case, and I noticed that the cables attached to the motherboard port JFP1 were a little bit loose, so I pushed them back in. Then I switched the PSU power back on and pushed the power switch again. This time everything worked. I got into Windows, downloaded my favorite web browsers, Steam, GOG Galaxy, etc.

At the end of the day I turned my PC off again for the night. I come back the next morning and try turning it on, and I have the same problem I had to begin with. This time, pushing the cables into motherboard port JFP1 did not work.

Not sure if the motherboard is at fault or the case is at fault here. More importantly, I don't know what to do about this because I've tried a few times now and haven't been able to get the PC started again! Again, the fans turn on, and most of the lights turn on (the RGB doesn't seem to be working but I don't really care that much).

What to do now?

Solution
the front panel headers shouldn't affect the display at all.
i would be leaning more towards an issue with the system's hardware(PSU, GPU, RAM, CPU, etc) or the display itself.

try a different display,
try different ports and cables(HDMI and DP).
is it a dedicated GPU or iGPU?
if a dedicated card, try the iGPU if available. if running through integrated, try a dedicated card.

the RGB doesn't seem to be working but I don't really care that much
you would need to install the MSI control software to setup the RGB options once the other issue(s) are corrected.
