Problem with memory card reader

hey guys,
whenever i connect my card reader to my pc with a sd memory card in it, an error pops up:-

crfilter.sys is missing and hence my pc does not recognise the card reader.... please help me with it... Thanks in advance.

It gets me to a search page to all kinds of solutions to crfilter.sys problems/solutions which one is best I do not know but some indicate it might be malware!

Thanks for the help man. I am gonna try a malware scanner... One more thing- before this problem occurred i used uniblue driver scanner to update any outdated drivers, it did update some usb drivers... so can that, in any way, cause the problem i mentioned..

Yes it can if it installed the wrong drivers! Always get drivers directly from the hardware manufacturers site!
