Problem with MS mouse

I'v got a Microsoft Imtellimouse with intellieye. For some unknown reason the LED keep turning off, thus disabling the mouse. I have to take the USB plug out and replace it to get the mouse to work again. Has this happened to anyone else, is it a driver problem or do I have a dud mouse??

I have also been forced to uninstall the intellipoint software becouse this just makes the mouse stall more often

I've had a similar problem. Try upgrading your Intellipoint driver. I think with mine something is loose either internally or in the cord. Try exchanging it for a new one.
