Hey guys,

So, I was having some issues with my graphics card before this which were for a similar problem but I thought I finally got it all sorted. I guess not.

My PC was working really nicely for the past few days but all of a sudden when I turned it on today it might a "driver installed" type sound and then proceeded to not show anything on my display. I tried hitting enter and etc to see if the PC had just slept but it hadn't, the display wasn't working at all.

So, I restarted and hoped it was just a one off thing. It wasn't, sadly, and ever since then at certain points my PC will randomly stutter and either completely stop showing video or stop for a second and display the error message "Graphics Drivers have stopped responding and recovered successfully" or something along those lines.

The card I have is the MSI AMD Radeon R9 390 8GB. Is the problem with Windows 10 maybe? I am using the drivers from the AMD website which are currently at version 15.20.1062.1004. I really hope you guys can help me fix this as I have been having a real blast on my PC over the past few days.

I have already tried to run Windows update and update the graphics drivers and etc but it says that it is all fully up to date. The only update I found was to do with my audio drivers.

Thanks in advance to everyone who helps me out!

There are issues with Windows 10 and graphics drivers... meaning... Windows is always trying to force install video drivers. I just upgraded to Windows 10 a little over a week ago and noticed that issue.. even if you already have the correct drivers... Win10 does not play nicely sometimes.

Not sure if you have this same exact problem as me or not.. but Microsoft came out a with a tool to help prevent that. It's called Show or Hide Windows Update. I installed that to fix my Grahics Card problem.

So all you done to fix the problem was install that little utility and then everything worked fine? If so, I think I will give it a go.

I managed to get some Windows updates installed and it hasn't crashed on me, yet, so I will see how it goes. It always seemed to crash on a specific YouTube video so I don't dare watch YouTube videos now!
