problem with my mobo oc

hey hey! so i have a q6600 processor and a gigabyte GA-EP43-DS3L/S3L mobo, and ddr2 1066 ram (2x2gb sticks)
i'm not a total noob when it comes to oc but i'm having a major pain getting this to oc. i cannot post the bios with any changes to performance. all it does is reboot 3 times and restore defaults. even if i only adjust by 1 mhz. i have the newest bios from gigabyte, i was once able to oc to 3.5 ghz using the gigabyte tuner form windows but i want to do it from the bios.

any ideas?

i think update your BIOS if there is a new version then start from scratch.

did update just go verson f8 from the gig.. site

no it allowed me to oc some from windows but not from the bios
