Problem with my monitor!

I bought a new GPU,MSI R9 270. When i put GPU in my computer and power up my computer,screen of my monitor was black. So i shut down PC with power button,connect TV with HDMI to PC,and it works without any problem. So i try again with monitor,and again it didnt work. So i thinked maybe its problem with my VGA cable,so i connect my TV with VGA to PC and it works. I took my monitor to my brother PC,connect it,and it works. I dont know where is the problem,monitor is working,my GPU is working,but dispay wont work when i connect my monitor to my PC.
If anyone know how to fix this please help me.

Try connecting your GPU to the monitor with HDMI rather than the VGA cable.

I solved it. I just reinstall Windows and it works now.
