problem with my resolution

Hello, i switched recently from sli titans original to gtx 980 ti as i know gtx 980 ti has HDMI 2.0 right ?

but when i try on my 4k tv native resolution is 1080p and its 60 hz when i choose 2560 x 1440 its 30 hz any other resolution its 30hz except 4k its 60hz but when i try to play any game fps says higher numbers but it feels like 30hz still and i switched my fps from 60fps on 4k to 30fps game play is same,

as i read before its not important to change ur cable for 4k 60Hz but this cable i have i bought it before from amazon good quality not sure about the bandwidth to be honest buts its not something bad so do i need to change the cable or is there any solutions i can try before that ?

Maybe your tv doesnt include 60hz 4K

wouldn't bother if it wasn't it does support 4k at 60hz and its Sony XBR-X900A

Is your hdmi cable a 2.0. If it is i have no idea mate sorry

am not sure it was high speed cable and good quality but i purchased it before 2.0 and i heard u don't have to change the cable for 4k 60hz its about the port in GPU and TV if am not mistaken
