problem with the cd drive

my laptop is toshiba satellite c50-b1405! I can't figure out how to open the cd drive! helpwould be appreciated!
in case it doesnt have a drive can I use an external??

there should be a small button (slightly raised) on the door to the CD drive. Push it, while powered up, and it should open right up. If not, there is a tiny hole that you can insert the end of a paper clip into. Just push it an inch or so into the hole and the door should open enough to pull the rest of the way open.

According to the net, C50-b1405 should not have cd drive at all.

Good catch...I hadn't considered a laptop without an optical drive of ONE sort or another. You are correct, however, as this particular model does NOT come with a CD/DVD drive. Thumbs up on the catch
