Question Brand new thunderbolt 4 dock not working with touchscreen display

So just connected a brand new thunderbolt 4 dock, my eGPU works fine with it. My touchscreen display does not, it only works if i connect it straight to my laptop. Any ideas?

I have my laptop connected to the thunderbolt dock output using a 40gbps TB4 cable and the display and eGPU connected to 2 of the 3 thunderbolt inputs on the dock using 40gbps cables. If I disconnect the eGPU the display still does not work, it only works when connected directly to the laptop.

If i power cycle the dock the display will work for around 1 second then default to no signal.

Two items to check, both related to power. Both because the Thunderbolt dock unit, although it has its own power supply module, can NOT supply enough power to the monitor for it to function.

1. Ensure that you ARE using the power supply module that came with the monitor to power it.
2. There MAY be an issue that the battery in the monitor came NOT fully charged, and you need to charge it up before using. Connect its power unit and wait for several hours of charging before trying to use.
