Hi, I have this new problem at my motherboard, this motherboard the Asrock G41M-VS3 R2.0 have 4 sata II ports, in all ports have disks and the port number one I have an SSD working normally like the others 3 HDD, the problem happens yesterday when I power on the pc the Windows wasn't booting but the bios was detecting the SSD (Windows is in here), So looking what going here I change the SSD to another port (sata port number 3 to be exactly) and the HDD in there to the sata por number 1(the SSD was in there) so I make the change on the bios to boot on the SSD and its works!.

I change sata cables and move to the SSD to the sata port number 2 and 4 and still working ( currently connected to the number 3) but when I connect to the number 1 doenst work, it said error read disk something like that, but the HDD what I use to save movies and videos works great on the number 1... I want to know why this is happening because is like weird.

might be a coincidence
the SATA 1 port is failing or the SATA cable was not connected properly to the port while using the SSD
or the port has a bad solder joint

or the SSD had a problem
which one is it? brand and model please
check it with the manufacturer´s tool and update the firmware if available

The SSD is the Kingston A400 480GB and the firmware is up to date. I can buy you the idea of bad solder joint... but the HDD work great on that port.... is so weird.
