Problems getting into BIOS

I recently completed my first build with the motherboard being a Gigabyte Gaming 3 board. I got everything set up and it is all running fine. However, recently, I have not been able to get into the BIOS. It appears that the USB ports only get activated once it's past the time I can get into the BIOS. The only thing I can think of that would prevent me from entering is that I changed the USB compatibility setting in the BIOS from partial to full. However, I cannot change this due to problems getting into it. Any other ideas? (I do not have a PS2 keyboard, that would not work)

Solution

With the CMOS jumper. Page 31 of your MB manual.

I was wondering if maybe unplugging all the drives and anything else plugged into the outside ports temporarily would allow the splash screen to reappear. If so, then you'd know what was causing the issue.
As long as you are plugged into a USB2 port, that shouldn't keep you from entering BIOS. I have had some boards that the window for key presses was so small, I hardly could make it. Have you tried continually tapping the DEL key as it boots?

Just tried it in USB2, but no luck there. with regards to the short button press time, I had it before where prompts would pop up to press the buttons, but now the prompts are no longer there.

Full rundown of specs:

Intel i5-4690k
Gigabyte Gaming 3 Z97 Motherboard
EVGA GTX 760
1x Crucial M4 128GB SSD
2x 250GB Maxtor HDDs in Raid 0
EVGA 500w PSU

If I were to clear the BIOS, how would I?

I will definitely try this, as soon as I find the motivation! Thank you sir. I will keep you informed on how it goes.
