Problems with dual channel memory

Hi!I'm new here.I want to know about mapping my 2 rams.I've a 2gb ddr3 1333mhz(super talent) and a 4gb ddr3 1333mhz(silicon power).Can i use them to get total 6gb ram?Any problem with dual and single channel.My desktop board is intel dp55wb media series with i5-750@2.66ghz.Thanks.

they should work together to make 6GB but will not work in dual channel that requires two of the same size sticks. also very picky about speed so much so that companies have to find sticks that perform nearly identically. thats why we have dual/tripple/quad channel kits.
