After re-installation of Office97 suite yesterday, I found that it created
"C:\My Documents" folder, which now became the default setting of WinXP Pro.
I could not figure out how it happened. It is really troublesome for using
WinXP. I would like to restore the original default setting of
"C:\Documents and Settings\Satoshi\My Documents\*.*". Please advise me how
to remove "C:\My Documents" folder (I cannot remove this folder) and
restore the original My Document folder. Satoshi

Try this;

Display it on the desktop first, if it is not already displayed there; to do
that right click the desktop, Properties, tab Desktop, button Customize and
check My Documents.
Now Right-click My Documents icon on your desktop and type
C:\Documents and Settings\Satoshi\My Documents
in the Target folder location box

George,

Now I found another collateral damage after fixing the My Documents issue.
Favorites under Internet Explorer 6 is "empty".
My favorites are sitting under C:\Documents and Setting\Satoshi\Favorites as
usual.
Somehow Favorite folder is not shown in Internet Explorer.
Could you please help me with this problem. Thanks. Satoshi
