Hello,

Current specs -
AMD FX-6100 | Gigabyte 970A-DS3P | DDR3 32 GB | GTX 970

Looking to upgrade processor and motherboard.
Budget is around 600 USD / 40,000 INR (approx total amount of 4790k + Z97).

I have no idea what to take in account while buying them.
I asked a friend about his suggestion, he told me to go for i5 6600K and Z170 with DDR4 RAM, and later on to upgrade the graphics card.

With very less knowledge about this stuff, really hoping for some help here.

Please, and let me know if any more specs are needed in details.
Thanks :)

Thanks a lot man. These options will be of great help. Have a good day :)

if the asus z170-a motherboard is not available you can go with asus z170-ar or the asus z170 pro gaming

Okay, thanks mate :) appreciate it.

if by zeb u mean zebronics then you should buy a new one , don't run high quality components on a crap psu and trust me zebronics is crap.

u can go with seasonic slii520 or slii620 very good quality units and come with a warranty of 5 years , they will cost more but will not damage your components and you can overclock your processor without any worry.

This one ?
Yeah, I will purchase it, stretches the budget but I am sure it will be worth it.
Also I have a SSD, so will it effect the choice of motherboard ?

no as long as the motherboard has sata 6gbps ports you are fine.

Okay, thanks for all the info and help. Helped a lot to finalize my options.
