The CPU will automatically throttle (slow down) at around 90C, so that it is not damaged. Ideally, you should be able to run a CPU torture test, and keep the temperatures in a reasonable range, say 60C to 75C. I suggest you look at the setup you have for cooling. Do you have enough large fans pushing air through your case ? Are the fans orientated correctly ? i.e. the air should flow across the CPU, with a more-or-less balanced number of intake and exhaust fans. Perhaps your fans are set to run too slowly? Also check that your CPU cooler is the correct capacity for your CPU, and that it is properly attached with not too much thermal paste.

Prime 95 places the cpu under an advanced load making use of instruction sets that aren't normally used for most end users. Please list your full hardware specs including the case (air flow) and CPU cooler.

That isn't surprising. That's the point of these types of stress tests. It presses the gas pedal to the floorboard and watches for any instability. It can't go easy on it. It needs to pretty much exceed any load a person would regularly subject their PC to. It's your day to day programs that also need to be tested to ensure the PC is cooling enough.

Want it to be cooler? Buy a quality aftermarket cooler, if you already don't have one.

Which version of Prime did you use? Only use 26.6.

I would want 3 fans on the antec gx 200 case - Two on the front for intake, and one at the back for exhaust.

More fans are obviously better. But I think you will find the single exhaust fan will make the biggest difference. Especially with the bottom mounted psu. For example my daily use desktop 1 exhaust fan drops my cpu temp 6-8c (mid 80's to high 70's). When adding 2 front intake it drops 0-1c more. (I have a blower style gpu that likely steals most of that)

You're borderline okay. 20c below max is recommended which means 85c.

If you have overclocked, stop here. You have reached the thermal limit.

If not, change the paste.

Also, if your case has free spots for the fan, buy a couple of cheap ones and install them. You don't need high-end fans. Just something to spin and circulate the air.

Also, You have Ryzen. It likes a fast memory. Get dual channel RAMs. 2x8GB or 2x4GB.
