Hi Guys

I have always built my own PC's and really not thought a huge amount about CPU temps, fans speeds etc as my last build was a P4 2.2 with a Geforce TI4200 from about 5 years ago. I just used all the std parts. Now I have dipped my toe back in the water you guys have me pumped up to get into over clocking, after market fans and monitoring PC temps. My question is what is a good program to monitor temps on my PC devices of my soon E6600 and 8800 GTX xXx and still for my P4 2.2 (running well still for its needs) so I can toy and make adjustments to improve temps.

You even have me that pumped up to mod my p4 case and chuck in lights and get the Dremmel out to put case fans in etc. I may have just found a hobby finally.

Hi 31 Computers

Yeah I did google it last night however I could only find programs that worked with core 2 CPU's and one called speedfan that hung the PC (fresh build xp sp2 + updates). Did not know if anybody knew of a good tool.

Hi 31

Yeah as I said its a fresh build. Did not have anything scary running in the back ground that would hang it.

Hi Facedownwh

Yeah I got a copy of coretemp for my new box and intend on using that. I just thought while I was doing it I would find something for my P4 2.2 and make sure all is ok there to nurse it along a little further for my download box.

Cool thanks for the best wishes. I have a few basic ideas I'm going to work on over the weekend. I will post any pics.
