Programming your universal remote to control your X-Box

The remote that comes with your X-Box remote control kit is made by
RCA. To program your universal remote, follow the directions in the
remote control's user manual, for adding a device by entering the code
manually (you probably already knew that though); use the codes listed
for RCA under the DVD section. One of the codes listed on your remote
control's code sheet for a RCA DVD player should work.

Here a few that work.

GE Universal Remote - 403
Philips Universal Remote PM335 - 941
Philips Magnavox Universal Remote PM425SB - 941, 945, 946
Jensen SC-595 universal remote - 7003

a couple other codes that people have listed as working are 405 and
755, but I do not know what brand remote they had.

If you do not have the user manual that came with your remote, try
http://www.xdiv.com/remotes/ to find your remote's code list.

Good luck, I hope this helps somebody.

What kind of universal remote do you have and what kind of tv are you
trying to program into it? I will try to help if I can.

Actually sorry its not the TV, that didn't work. Its the DVD player and the
VCR just cannot get to work.
The remote is a One-for-all model urc 7030. The DVD player and VCR are both
Alba makes.
