Anyone use a projector instead of or as well as a monitor?

I am thinking of getting one mainly for gaming, any suggestions or comments?

I have used a projector for gaming and it was awesome. Just make sure that it has a fairly high resolution capability, at least 1024x768. And projectors are great if you watch movies on your computer as well. I wouldn't recommend using it for much other than just presentations, some gaming, and watching movies. Not the ideal thing if you surf the net cause its hard to read some of the THG reviews that way!

Well, if you do a LOT of gaming, you should consider lamp life. It's about 1000-2000 hours for most projectors, and a replacement bulb is $300-500 for almost every model.
