It's a build with excess money thrown at it, with the motherboard being where the spending is the worst.
If you need a wifi board, there are still good boards to be had for around half the cost of that approx. $600 Dark Hero one.

The build is paired with a small form factor power supply(SFX) for some reason...

Thank you for the answers. The shock by the MoBo choice was well anticipated ) In fact, the purpose of the build is beyond gaming and Thunderbolt connectivity out of the box is needed.

It will certainly be fast. I would maybe sacrifice half the ram for faster ram and a 2TB ssd.


Why SFX?

Also, make sure to update your bios asap, you don't want to damage your new CPU.
