i hatethis article title , hell i ahte this article gaming has been 3d for qutie some time, so why edoes this new gimicky tech start determing rather or not soemthign is 3d ??? i mean seriously think about it the polygons that make up a game , it's called 3d modeling

this new tech is no more 3d than any thing else , and games are no mroe 3d than they were before this tech hit the scene ...

"3D" sells.. it's like HD

When HD was the craze, I saw and ad for "HD Eyeglasses"!!!!

Nearly every game made for both the PS3 and 360 are made to tun at 720p.

No it will run just fine, 3d isn't doubling the Polys or anything, it's just sending two images slightly out of phase with eachother. The big thing here is getting a screen that officially supports this.

It was just a selling gimmick that you needed HDMI 1.4 to get 3D. 3D works perfect through any HDMI 1.3 cable. there was a lawsuit filed that stopped the 1.4 from even being able to be printed on the package. instead they have to put the cables bandwith. so you will see 10.4 Gig instead.
