PS4 Headshot Wont Split on PC

I have a mic and audio port on the front panel of my build, but even with a splitter my headset mic wont work. Are they even compatible?

If not, can you reccomend some cheap and solid headphones like these?

Try the mic and headphone jax on the back of the computer? Might work, maybe the drivers aren't installed on the front ones... SPECS!

I have no clue whats going on, now the headphone part doesnt even work and the mic isnt set up even after 3 tests

eBay Hyper X Cloud 2 would be about the minimum for good sounding with a good sounding microphone. I have a set of the Gamdias headphones, and they sound all right, but the mic is crummy. Those would be in that price range too I think.
