PS4 vs. $500 PC (NEED HELP)

I was wondering if building a $500 PC would be better than the PS4. The PS4 itself has many great specs. I was wondering if this setup can beat the PS4.

i didnt compare 1500$ pc to PS4 i just said in the future when ure upgrading ur GPU for 200$ and buying the best 4k monitor for 250$ (you can buy 5K tho) it will be overkill.... but when you spend ur money on ps4 600$ and 200$ for games ( 300-400 for the TV maybe) its will be waste for money... anyways.. the ps4 will never support games at 4k anymore... only videos and movies.. lol.. i can right now buy gtx 970 and play gta v at 4k ultra res 30-40fps and still better fps than ps4 so please shut up..

Funny, PS4's APU is the strongest APU in the world. Go take a look at Final Fantasy XV, Deep Down, The Order, Killzone, Uncharted 4 and other games and then tell me it's "shit". Hint: Uncharted 4's cinematics are real time 1080p60fps and look better than any in-game cinematic.

i dont think so... u4 will run at 30avg fps.... as always.. i have a seen a guy says '' dont look at cutsceens they made a nice trick with beautiful cutsceens and terrible looking in-game graphics with last of us - and i see the same here in U4'' .... RIGHT!!... there are many diff between game play and trailers... im not stupid NAUGHTY-DOG like many customs... alright... all PS4 games sucks.. did u liked the last of us 😛 (Hiding like a shit).. pff it sucks.. except the u4 i think its the only game which worth to buy... especially if it was locked at 60FPS (im sure 80% it will around 35 fps, sometimes it will jump to 60 but not while playing..).. 4K revolution has been started long time and 5K displays will be everywhere so i think its will be around 300$ in 8-10 months from now..maybe a year.. anyways and 1440P GPUs are everwhere.. wait a little time for 4K GPUs to be around 400$... i believe much things from new AMD Fiji XT GPUs with a new memory technology it will kick PS4 ass.

Uncharted 4 runs at 40fps. It was locked at 30fps for the demo. I loved The Last of Us, it's in my top 3 games (Age of Mythology, Infinity Blade (series), and that). Technically you can call it top 5 games. The Last of Us does not suck. Give me a reason why. Nope, Uncharted 4 runs at 40fps. Hahahahaha okay show me a cheap 32 inch 4K display. Over 40 games run at 1080p60fps on PS4. Games like Resogun could run at 4K, and other indies.

Wait for Pascal. Get only an Intel i5 - i7s are pointless for games. Get only 8Gb RAM. You can get Windows 10 right now. Get an SSD as well, and choose a proper power supply. I guarantee you that Pascal will be more than double the performance of 980Ti SLI.

Yeah dont expect the prices to dip down this fast , and thats only the monitor 😉 Next make a build that runs 4k games at DECENT FRAME RATES with DECENT GRAPHICS SETTINGS . Itll cost well over $2000 . Not everyone is as rich as you are . And yeah it's a 4k panel , but it's $422 , it's a TN panel and you're looking at a cheap 4k monitor which probably hasn't got great colors. So once again a PS4 is $400 , your 4K PC is well over $2400 . And we're already way off topic here , Op only got $500 to spend , AND YES IT WOULD BE BETTER THAN A PS4 . You happy now ?

Nope, PS4's GPU doesn't suck. CPU doesn't either if it's properly used.

LOL you guys are funny. The closest desktop APU is half the power of the PS4's APU at best. The PS4's GPU compares to an R9 280 all things considered, and even then it's probably better.

i dont care about APU if i can get better than it 1000 times... anyways... you said it can be compared to R9 280 (not R9 280X btw) ...you should know that GPU costs around 150$... and it preforms better.. at least it runs battlefield 4 1080P@50 FPS .. and i heard that ps4 runs battlefield at 900P not sure... and you can run TressFX and Free-Sync features on that GPU ... but i still recommend Nvida 960 for who wants to buy ... anyways... and yes gharsh, if intel wants to join GPU battle.. we'll be ready to say RiP ps4... (ive already said it, but for who want to be sure 100000%)
