[SOLVED] PS5 Display Issue 4k & HDR

I plugged my PS5 directly into the HDMI port of my TV XBR 55X900F with the HDMI cable that came with the PS5. It will allow me to run 1080 with HDR OR 4k but not 4k with HDR. I have searched other posts and found advice to "turn on deep color" on the TV but my TV doesn't have that option, that I can find. I have fiddled with the visual options of my TV and no luck so far. Any advice or can you direct me to a better forum thread if this is not the correct place?

Try looking in TV>Settings> External inputs>HDMI Signal Format> port# and then enable enhanced format.

The Deep color thing may be something you need to do on the PS5. I don't know much about them yet.

If you can try selecting Chroma 4:2:2. I recall the PS5 doesn’t support 4:4:4. This is a guess though.
