I am in the process of a new build, and I want to maximize my performance for my money. My question right now is this:
Will the Corsair 750hx be sufficient for my needs? I will be using the following system, but I may add more to it over the next year or two. So I want keep in mind possibilities for crossfiring, and adding extra drives later on. I could play it safe and get the Corsair 850hx, but if it is truly not needed, I would rather put the money to a better video card or something else.
My system:
Case - Haf 922
Mobo - Asus 890fx w/ SATA 6.0 USB 3.0
CPU - AMD 1090T x6 3.2 GHz
CPU Fan - Cooler Master Hyper 212 plus
GFX - HIS Turbo 5870
Drives - One DVD burner, one 7200 RPM Hdd. Will add 1-2 SSDs down the road.
Currently I'm leaning toward the 850 just to be safe - I'd rather not close doors later on for upgrades, but if you guys think 850 would just be excessive for any upgrades I would do, then I'll go with the 750. Thanks!
