Hey, last week I build my first own PC:
Tt view 71 TG RGB
D432GB 3200-16 Vengeance LPX K2 COR
Samsung 970 EVO, 1 TB SSD
ASUS Prime Z390-P, socket 1151
be quiet! Dark Rock 4
Sharkoon SilentStorm Cool Zero 750W

A rough 4 hours later I got it all done.
I went and put the power cable into the pc and the wall outlet and flipped the switch on the Psu.
All I got in return was my lights turning off and my motherboard flashing orange.

I disconnected the Psu and only gave the Psu power (so outside the pc, just the Psu and a power cable) and the same thing happened, power outage..

Is this something that's on the Psu? Is it possible that I caused it by placing parts in the wrong place/messing certain things up? are my other parts Ok? I'm quite panicky right now because all I did was follow the manual and a Youtube video

Only other psu i have at hand are Cooler master masterwatt lite 500w

No you don't that is not going to work. Please don't do this I can feel everyone here pulling their hair out. If you have the money to spend on an RTX2070 and a 9900 you have more than enough money to buy a quality PSU. Now for a series of legit recommendations:

EVGA G3 650w or 750w
