Hi all!

My old rx 480 is really struggling and i have the upgrade fever, i play on 1080p so i was going for an RX 5600 XT but the only available cards here are some 1660 super and ti (not much of an upgrade) ,or a PNY 3060 ti uprising . The 3060 ti require a 600w psu and i was wondering if my 520w Antec can handle it? I can't afford to buy another power supply now, maybe in a month, i'm already going for a gpu out of my price range but i'm afraid i wont be able to upgrade when the prices get even higher soon. Also,i never tried the PNY brand,is it any good ?
Any help is appreciated.

Ryzen 5 3600
Asus tuf gaming x470
16Gb ram crucial ballistix oc @3600
Sapphire RX 480 4Gb
Antec HCG 520W

technically the 5600xt has a lower power consumption than the rx480, so the upgrade would work fine with that PSU.

480 is around 160-170W, the 5600xt is around 150W

the 3600Ti is around 200W which means it will use more of your psu, but your total load with that CPU and the like should be around 400W

you should be good.

Cheers!

The 5600xt was my first choice the 3060 ti is kinda overkill for 1080p and too expensive here, but as i mentioned it's unavailable right now.

Anyway i hope you are right about the psu, thx mate!
