The fan of psu doesn't work anymore but the pc boots for a certain amount of time then it automatically turns off. The psu is over 5 year old and I was certain that at some point of time it will die. Does the condition mentioned indicate that its over or do i have a chance?
My pc requires a power supply of 250w. Now if i need to replace the psu, which one should i for so that i can upgrade my pc in the future.
Current specs:
cpu - Amd a4 4020
Mobo- Asus a68hm-k
Ram - 8gb ddr3
Gpu- r7 240 2gb
I wish to upgrade to the the following specs in the future
Cpu - ryzen 5 3600
Ram - 16 gb
Gpu - 1660ti
What psu should i go for?
Edit: I should also mention that i can smell a slight burning smell whenever i turn on the PC
