PSU for 2 EVGA GTX 970

I am building a new gaming PC with 2 EVGA Nvidia GeForce GTX 970 FTW and it says on amazon that 1 of them takes 500W and that doesn't seem right

500w is the required system PSU for one GTX 970. For two GTX 970s, you should get a 750w PSU.

500w is the recommended PSU power (like joseph said) you should have to run with GTX 970 smoothly. 500w is not the amount the GPU uses up
