PSU for gtx 950 and FX 8320

So i just bought a new gpu the gtx 960 4gb to upgrade from my hd 7850. I have an evga 500w psu is that enough? i was told it was. thanks!

Not sure. Your title says GTX 950, but your post says GTX 960. Since you have a 4GB version, I'll assume it is a GTX 960. A good quality 500W is sufficient for either gfx card and your CPU. But the key word there is "good" quality. Maybe you better list the make/model of the PSU.

Your PSU is either an EVGA W1 or B1. Neither are good for a gaming system. Quality and reliability are everything in a power supply. A high quality 550 would work well and give you a small bit of headroom. Look to XFX, Antec HCG or TPC , Seasonic or EVGA B2, G2 or GS series for the quality a gaming system needs.
