I am building a moderately powerful HTPC and want it quiet. I have selected most of the components accordingly. I now need a PSU. Am looking at: Corsair SF Series, SF450, 450 Watt, SFX, 80+ Platinum Certified, Fully Modular Power Supply. Any have one? How quiet is it? Know of a better/quieter one for about the same cost? Want it to be 450-500 watt. Would like a fanless or at least quiet. There are just too many options out there :)
Thankx.

Thanks Keith12,
I'll go ahead and order one.

No problem, you're very welcome Harold. Hope your new system works out well :)

Have a good evening. At least it's evening where I am.
Update: While the Corsair SF450 looks like it would be great, I discovered the cables are not long enough for use with my ATX motherboard. The cables will bearly reach the sockets from the PSU and are stretched so tight they interfere with putting in my graphics card.
I will return the SF450.
Anyone know if the Corsair RM550x is as good (and silent running) ass the SF450? The RM550x does have longer cables (600mm vs 300mm).
Thankx,
Harold
