Question Psu popped

So my psu shut down I turned it back on then a pop I opened the case and smelt it smelt like burnt. How do I check if my components are okay? I am getting a new psu soon.

What's happened has already happened. It either works or it doesn't, and whether it's convenient or not doesn't change that fact. So there's no use about worrying something you can't control.

I have a quick question is there a chance it could also fry the stuff on the case such as the power button and fans etc
