Howdy folks!

I'm looking to upgrade my GPU soon and curious if I'll need a PSU upgrade. I just built this rig in March, so the PSU is new. I'm looking to add either a GTX 1080 TI or RTX 2080, yet to be decided. However, I used Cooler Master's Power Calculator and am somewhat confused on the results. (Note: I used a GTX 1080 TI as the GPU in the calculations, not the 1060 which I currently have)

It shows that my load wattage is 513 watts and that the recommended minimum PSU wattage be 563 watts. Then, it shows a recommended PSU which is 750 watts.

Is there a good reason to have an extra ~200 watts available? Can I get by with an upgrade and keep my 650watt PSU?

Here is a full list of the components in my rig, along with all peripherals.

Solution
nah, 1080ti is fine with that 650 G3. Normal max draw from 1080ti is ~300

8600k is max ~ 170 W

rest of the system is ~ 50 W, in total 520W, plenty headroom.
