Psu QUESTION

Hello, NOOB question. i have an antec ea 650 green

psu and im looking for a video card i can play some games. It has two 12v rail 38amp 6 pin cables. So my question is the power supply a 38a combined for both rails or its like 38 X 2

38a on each 12V rail, which is what it says on the newegg link you provided yourself

since you got 2x6+2 adapters that PSU will run any card you throw at it

Thanks for your reply. So im looking to get a gtx 560ti in sli mode and each card requires a minimum of 30amp. Will that psu pull it off?

ugh, I leaning towards a no. personally I'd look at 750+W for dual 560s.

12V x30 x2 = 720

I think the PSU is rated to trip at 38a, but I seriously doubt it's designed to supply both rails at 38a continuously.

moreover, each 560 needs 2x6 connectors from the PSU, while you only got 2. So there you go.
