I'm building my new system and I am going with the following parts, so I don't know if 1000W would be better than my original choice of 850W. I don't know if I will be OC'ing ?

Case - NZXT H7 Flow 2024 (Black) - 3 Front 120mm Fans, Added Rear Case Fan
AIO - Thermalright Frozen Prizm 360
CPU - 9800X3D
AM5 Mobo - Gigabyte B650 Eagle AX, DDR5, Triple M.2, PCIe 5.0, USB 3.2, Wifi 6E
Memory - 32GB (16x2) Teamgroup AMD Expo DDR5 6000 Mhz CL30-36-36-76
GPU - ASUS TUF OC RTX 5080 OC Edition (Got it at MSRP $1484) Amazon

Power Supply? - Super Flower Leadex III ATX 3.1 850W or 1000W

Either one will will do but I'd pick the higher wattage unit to have headroom off of your unit. The 850W would offer you a 100W headroom mind you, so you're fine getting that out of the gate. If the price difference between the two units isn't much, then logically you get the higher wattage unit.

The cost for 1000w is only $20 more.
Other than that, there is no downside.
The psu will use only the power demanded of it, regardless of the max capability.
The extra capacity will permit the later option for a stronger graphics card.
Graphics cards can have larger power spikes than the nominal draw so a stronger psu can handle that better.
A larger psu will operate more efficiently in the middle third of it's range.
It will be quieter while doing so.

Lastly, you will avoid the second guessing if you bought the less capable option.

All for $20.
