Question PSU STATIC NOISE

Hi,
I've just mounted a PC for the first time. The PSU is making a static noise and I'm woried.

The components are the following:
I7-13700K
RTX 4070Ti
Z790 Gaming X AX
Corsair RM850e ATX 3.0 80+ Gold

Are you sure the noise is coming from the PSU's end and not from a fan or a component on the rest of the platform/system? Use a sheet of A4 paper and roll it into a tube and hold one end of the tube to your ear, while the other is used to inspect for the source of the sound.

You might want to relocate to another wall outlet in your residence.

The noise us definitively coming from the PSU.

I've tried relocating to various outlets as you suggested, but with the same result.



Also, I found out the fan is not spinning, but It might be that the psu is nit under enough load.



I'll contact with the seller to see if they can give me a replacement.
