The question should be, is there anyone here who hasn't?

So can anyone recommend me a new PSU?
I have a Seasonic S12II 520W PSU at the moment, running an i7-3770, R9 280X. Now This is perfectly fine for my needs at the moment but I just recently got a new motherboard and am looking at the prospect of possibly adding a 2nd 280X in, or upgrading to an all together new card once Arctic Islands/Polaris and Pascal come out.

So what are you guy's suggestions? I'm thinking either Super Flower Leadex (since I can't get EVGA here), or Cooler Master VSM. Another thing is I need the 4+4-pin CPU cable to be long enough to route properly for cable management as the one on my current PSU is too short and I have to route it funny. I have a Phanteks Enthoo Pro case. Thanks in advance

Super Flower Leadex is a good choice, probably even better than the EVGA G2 that's based on that platform. Cable length is good, plus it's modular and you can get custom length cables for any individual cables you need for a relatively low price through Super Flower or various third party vendors.

That's what I was thinking, although custom length cables are going to be hard to come by/order seeing as I live in the Philippines. I'm thinking of just waiting until I return to the US anyway. I have a wider selection there, although will still likely get an EVGA G2 or P2 as they're some of the best on the market at the moment.

Ordering isn't the problem, it's just that it'll take month(s) to get here if it even gets here at all. Thanks for the advice though, much appreciated.

Most people who recommend CX are very new. I've encountered other people who get the wrong idea from our advise and literally speak of the CX as if it's going to cause utter destruction, as if it's the worst thing on the planet. This is how the Linus Tech Tips forum was for a long while, so I posted a "Corsair CX Myths Debunked" thread on there that gained popularity and even the Corsair Joseph representative (he's also on this site) said the information was accurate and indeed true. After I made the topic, the site seemed to calm down. I guess you can call me a peace-maker. :)

No, the CX aren't huntkey or logysis, TR2 or bestec,, or any of the cheap Chinese knockoffs, if anything good could be said about the CX it's that when (not if) they die, they do so quietly. Their protectective circuitry is quite good, so it's rather disappointing the rest isn't.

Just went and looked at the thread, first impressions; Well written and your profile picture is so silly and cuuuuuute ^0^

I wish more PSU reviewers tested protection circuitry like Torres. On Jonnyguru they don't seem to for fear of the PSU blowing, because they resell those.

I wanted to put a Seasonic SS-300ES into Igor, my lab assistant, but its CPU power cable is so short that it prevents use of a full-height graphics card; so I ended up putting the CX-430M there instead. Cable lengths are excellent. My only gripe is only four SATA power connectors on two cables; I would like to have seen a couple more.

Hey, I just met you.
And this is crazy.
But here are some PSU extenders.
SO USE THEM MAYBE.

Couldn't resist, as much as I hate that song. I assume you used the CX series?

The CX-430M supposedly is not as bad as the CX-600. I needed to get this machine up quickly to replace Scrooge, and don't have time to order an extender. I'll probably use it somewhere else. The AMD system I built for my Mom some six or eight years ago is getting sufficiently flaky now that I'm just going to build her a new one. I'll use a case with a top-mounted PSU, or maybe even a mITX case (all cable lengths are short).
