Not really. If you ask most people who've actually used a PhysX card, they'll tell you it's generally a waste of time, power and energy (Your energy).

I would not recommend any power supply that is rated as Tier 3 or below for use with a GTX 980 Ti.

And that power supply is rated as Tier 4. Go to page 1 of this thread, and scroll down... You will find it.

There are a lot of things that are expensive in my country too, but the alternative is something even more expensive if you don't. Anybody buying a 980TI that says they can't afford a good PSU is an idiot. Buy a GTX 980 instead, and use the difference to put towards a good PSU.

The psu is THE single most important part of a every PC. It is the LAST part to cheap out on. You need to make the psu the number 1 priority. I cannot stress this enough. The GTX980ti is nothing but a $600-700 paperweight on a garbage psu. If you can't afford a good psu, you can't afford a 980ti. It really is that simple.

What I am confused about is if PhysX is something games (like Batman) need? Like if they won't run or will run like crap or miss features if your GPU doesn't have PhysX. Or is it just a "better" physics engine offered by Nvidia to use on those games if you have one of their cards, but the game will run perfectly fine/normal without it?

Its just a feauture you can enable not that it wont run! if your gpu passes the min requirments then u are OK

The P1-650X-CAH9 is not a Pro Series.

JonnyGURU.com only gave it an 8 (only 7 for its electrical performance). There is a severe problem with the +5V rail destablizing when the PSU is heavily crossloaded towards the +3.3V and +5V rails and a light load (i.e. < 7.5 Amps) is placed on the +12V rail.
