Hey all,

Today I was going to build a new PC. However I needed to update the BIOS so I can use my 5800x. However, while it was updating my dog jumped on the power cord and it detached the cable from the PSU. I immediately put back the USB drive and pressed the flash bios button. Did I brick my motherboard? My flashback button light has been on for more than 3 min. I have a ASUS ROG Strix B450-F Gaming II.

PS: I posted this on another forum website and one person said that I'm safe because my mobo doesn't have a qflash option so I'm fine. Is it true or am I truly screwed?

update: after a couple of hours of this post, i let my usb flash drive stay in my mobo for a whole hour. as you said, the led was a sold green and it didn't do anything. however i put in all my cables and turned it on and it was able to go onto the bios. is it still considered "bricked?" I havent downloaded windows just yet
