Plenty of great OC boards without having to pay that much. You can get a board that OC just as well as the Maximus and an i5 2500k for about the same price as just paying for the Maximus. You really don't need that board, nobody does.

Vengeance RAM is high profile and expensive. There is much better RAM for less money. Corsair just likes to raise their prices because they know people will buy it anyways just because it says CORSAIR.
 
While the Intel® Core™ i5-2500K does come with a HSF (heatsink/fan) that will work fine at stock speeds and temperatures I would advise that if you are planning to overclock that you look into a good 3rd party HSF so that you can get the most out of this processor.
