I recently installed an H100i GTX in my PC, but it is making a really obnoxious pulsating hum. When in quiet mode, it kinda sounds like a biplane. When I turn it to performance mode, the noise goes up in pitch and becomes much louder, and the pulses are much more frequent. Both this noise and the fan air flow noises are apparent, so I don't think the fans are making the noise. Is it the pump, and can I fix this?

Solution
probably the pump I would try to return it and buy a air cooler.
When I replaced my H100 with a R1 air cooler the noise level of my PC dropped big time.
AIO water coolers tend to have a lot of air in them. Has the h100i had time to sit and run without being moved? Also it looks as if the pump is powered by the cpu motherboard header. Go into your BIOS and make sure any fan control on the header it's attached too is turned off. If this doesn't solve then you'll probably need to return it.
