Try rubbing the screen at the edges where the purple line is. Sometimes it is just a loose connection.

Other times it is the connector that goes to the panel itself, it varies from panel to panel where that is. But you can try squeezing the bezel all the way around to see if that helps.

Otherwise, warranty, that is more than .1% of the pixels, surely.

Neither. The physical LCD panel inside of the monitor will have cables going to it to supply power and data. These can sometimes get loose.

Look up any monitor tear down and you will see what I mean.

Also a chance to see what LCD panel you have in there, and then you can look up a replacement. Though with a monitor like that it will probably be cheaper to buy a new one.

Warranty repair is your best option.
