Put in Hard Drive and now Windows won't display out both monitors

I've been trying to fix this issue for 3 hours last night, and eventually I gave up.

I have one monitor at 2560x1440, 144hz that uses a display port connection. I have a second monitor at 1600x900, 60hz, that uses a DVI connection. Both of these connections were working fine until yesterday.

I unplugged my PC, used an air can to clean out the insides, and installed a Hard Drive (which ended up being DOA).

My problem is that I can no longer extend displays. I have the option to, but whenever I do, it switches to "show only on 1/2". I can duplicate displays just fine, but that's not really what I want to do.

I have a GTX 1080 and an intel i7-6700K. I tried disabling intel graphics, which did end up working, but then Nvidia control panel only recognized the 1600x900 monitor in display settings, and I was getting ~10 fps in League of Legends.

Solution
I realize this might be a dumb question, but did you hook both monitors back into the video card, or was one connected to a motherboard back-panel video connection?
