Decided to splurge on a new build because it's my bday and finally prices are starting to drop. Looking for any critique or advice. Also the case that i am planning to use is this:https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811353144

I keep hearing that DIY cases don't have good air flow so I'm on the fence.

Looks like a solid build. Might want to go with some faster RAM, but 2133MHz is OK. The gfx card is long, but the case has enough room (375mm).
DIYPC cases are inexpensive but decent. Yours looks nice but has the issue of hardly any room behind the motherboard for cable management. That may make appearance hard to maintain.
I just finished a budget build for someone using this DIYPC case. It has more room for cable management.

Always something to upgrade if you got the money. If you are on a budget I would say this is a good pc for the price.

Have you considered any ssd? Something worth investing in.
Have fun with new pc :)

That case looks nice, I'll consider swapping it out.

Good point. I already have a 250 GB SSD from my old computer that I am just going to throw into here. I have looked into getting better RAM, but I just might wait for a sale and throw on another set down the road.

there 3200 8g ram kit on parts picker for 10.00 more then the ram you picked out. on the gpu dont buy it as newer nvidia gpu are dropping in a few weeks. for the same money your going to spend the 1170 is going to be cheaper and faster.

Nice I didn't even realize the 11 series was coming out so soon. I'll take your advice about the RAM also. I'll buy the other parts now and hold off until the new GPU's are released.
