PWM Fan headers effecting each other.

I'm trying to use speedfan to control my cpu and case fan but when cpu fan is set to 0 the other will not run. It seems as though the fans are dependent on each other for their speeds.

Rather hard to say without knowing much else.

It's either something to do with SPEEDFAN, or else both fans are joined together.

Most motherboards have their own fan control software. Do you not have any? (FYI, I use Windows 10 on my Asus Z77 board but the fan control software, Thermal Radar, is only listed under the W7 list)

Sorry, been a little tired today, forgot to include system specs. crosshair-V Form Z mobo, 8350 cpu, 780ti and trident x 16 gb.
