Is there anything like this, but completely internal and software-controlled? I need at least four different speed settings (1 fan, 1 fan, 2 fans, 3 fans) for four different groups of fans. I'd preferably like to set a fan curve to each set to rev up at certain temperatures and some to stay completely off when idle. All fans are PWN 4-pin. I'm finding it exceedingly difficult to find what I'm looking for. Does something that'll allow me to do this exist?

With that many radiators you won't be needing additional fans for the case. But yes, 2:2:1:1 config for fans using case channels 1-4 is your easiest way.


Before doing that I would suggest just upping the fan speed to max (1300RPM), since the pump is going to be the noisiest thing in there if you add too much more load (depends on your radiator block of course, some are very low impedance)

As mentioned, water will be passing though two GPUs, the CPU, 720 mm of radiator, and obviously the tubes as well.

I'll have to test how much RPM I'll need, but I'm hoping it's not the noisiest component in my system by the end of it. Pump has excellent review for silence so I should be fine.
 


Damn. I'm guessing there really isn't anything out there much quieter then if people are saying that is quiet. Of course a hammer hitting a desk is quiet compared to a gun going off.

No, that's just the way I read the mobo manual. USUALLY when a manual heading says "SYS_FAN 1-4" it means that EACH of the four is configured separately, but the process and screen headings are all exactly the same. However, it is possible for that to mean that you can make ONE setting to apply to all four. To be absolutely sure you need to contact Tech Support for your mobo and ask THEM to be SURE of their answer.

"I want all of them on < 1000 RPM at ALL TIMES for optimal silence, preferably more around 800." This is what I mean about over-thinking. REMEMBER that the aim of all of this it to ensure that your system components are kept cool so that overheating does not damage them. Like too many posts I see, you are concentrating on QUIET and not on COOL. If you slow down your fans until you can't hear them without asking what temperatures are the result, you are defeating the purpose and risking such damage. The strategy in all the mobo-based automatic control systems is to run the fans at whatever speed keeps those components at the target temperature. If you have lots of cooling capacity, this means that automatically your fans will be run at very low speeds (for lower air flow and cooling) and this will mean low noise levels. If the fans speed up, it's not malevolence on your mobo's part - it's because the components are heating up and need more cooling. Now, you can defeat that by manually setting fans to low speeds, or by manually setting your automatic control system to run at higher-than-specified temperatures. Or you can let the cooling system controls do their job according to the manufacturers' settings that are likely to ensure proper cooling.
 


Manufacturer settings are for an average system, this will be anything but. Regardless of what his end goal is, he'll have to use a custom fan profile (fixed RPM or temperature proportional), since water cooling just doesn't work all that well above ~65C
