I would pay $300, I paid $200 for a sony ebook reader, would pay a bit more for a bigger screen ebook reader. Other purposes? why would I watch a movie on such a small screen or web browsing?

hmmm considering its one hell of an expansive newspaper that u cant even burn in the furnice and upon that its apple.... arent we for the open source community rather than against it?

i'd give a decent netbook in exchange whit people that baught it just to ensure that those poor sols get something worth its cash in exchange for the ipad wich gets destroyd bye me ofc.

wouldn't buy it at all right now. first of all I personally don't have a use for it. iTouch is a music player. iPhone is a phone. Macbook is a laptop. iPad is... a combination netbook/kindle/iPod? I have an iPod, and I don't have a netbook or kindle because I don't want/need them.

Secondly, seeing what they did with iPod Touch from 1st gen to 2nd gen makes buying it too risky. The addition of bluetooth alone in 2nd gen makes 1st gen totally obsolete.

It has no legitimate uses that I can tell. Can anyone think of one good solid use for this, other than (in some peoples opinion) coolness factor?? I would have to agree with Lavacon on this one.

Probably nothing, its too big or too small for normal use, battery cannot be replaced and I really dont like DRM apple is using.
Even if I get it for free I will most likely gift it to someone or sell cheap.

I'd love it at $150 but will save up and buy it for $200. I would pay $250 if it came with free limited 3g like the kindle especially if that included facebook and hulu (and providing hulu is made to work!)

Try the new Archos-5 @ 500GB, multi-touchscreen internet tablet with Droid OS all for under 500$ The alternatives are out there.

hmmm , given this things size and the fact it wil most likely blow up or spotaneously combust ... in don't think i want one , i ahd a freind that got burned bad by his ipod blowing up and that thing was small compared to this ... no 300+ dollars is not a good sale point for fancy fire works ... think i'll stick to buying black cats at the local Fire work stand , i can get 200 in a box for 5 bucks if i want something that blows up in my hand.
