I have never nor will I ever play on a console, even if money was no object, i will always be a pc user.. it is the best game machine out there, bar none

Atari 2600, NES, Master System, Genesis, SNES, Game Boy, Saturn, PlayStation, N64, Wii

Unfortunately my Xbox stopped working a while back, or else it would be on this list too. Also, while I do play the 2600 every now and again, the Genesis gets the most time out of all of these, including the Wii (well, until this Tuesday, but I've even been taking that slow, and am just now up to Mr.Sandman).

The oldest currently hooked up is SNES, on which I regularly play Super Mario RPG. I have had my Atari 7800 hooked up recently, with which I was playing Centipede. Right now my 32" 1080i/720p HDTV has the SNES, Dreamcast, Playstation 3, and PC attached to it. Just today I played every single one of those systems: Super Mario RPG on the SNES, Crazy Taxi on the Dreamcast, Rock Band 2 on the PS3, and Flatout: Ultimate Carnage on the PC.

my old Pentium 3 rigs - all 3 of them for coop carmageddon, roadrash, red alert, duke nukem 3d and others

oh and the even older pc for even older games (soundblaster 16 legacy cards etc)

i used to have a sega megadrive and super nintendo but both stopped working (dam slot became too touchy) - i still play them on my pc (emulation, not the same but close enough, prefer the original i paid for but cant).

I still love to play my old Super NES games. I wish I had a Sega Genesis. I have fond memories playing with my next door neighbor on his NES and Sega. I haven't done any emulator stuff with my PC yet, but I think that I'm going to have to go figure that out now.

NES, though I wish my Intellivision still worked...

I usually play most games via emulators setup in MaximusArcade, decent frontend app, though not free. I don't want to cause any more wear-and-tear on the old systems, want to show them to the kids some day. That, & I'm not a big fan of losing my FF1 save-games because someone bumped the table...

NES always and forever. I still have one connected at my grandparents house for every time we go visit.

We play all of the Mario Bros.(of course), but also battletoads, super tecmo football (best football game ever made lol), WHEEL OF FORTUNE haha, Metroid, Duck Hunt(still have the plastic gun at it works-the most sturdy controllers EVER built hands down), and maybe one or two more that i can't remember.

ahhhhh those were the days. the days where a cheat code was getting a turtle shell to bounce between two blocks getting your life count to 100 by killing a bunch of little green things :)

I'd like to get a controller for my pc dedicated to those emulations. those old controllers just can't be beat on how they feel and play in those games.

You can get NES, SNES, & Genesis controllers w/USB connectors here for ~$35 each:

Although this site (couldn't think of the name earlier) is much better, I've purchased through them before, works like a charm (though you're still SOL on the Zapper):

The oldest game console i use on a regular base would be my sega saturn singstar is just not as fun as virua cop or house of the dead after a night on the town.
On rainy days i like to play Panzerdragoon, and now i think of it the only thing i really think my collection needs is a PAL version of Panzerdragiin saga.

If the old home computers count for being consoles then i would have to scrap saturn and have to go with my MSX as once in a while (roughly once a month) i walk in to some tapes and i try to load them (you would be amazed how many tapes just died in a box of garbage).

I have been a relatively active collector for years and have all the 8 but to 128 bit systems i could find and the only systems missing from my collection are the exotic ones summed down to NeoGeo AES NeoGeo CD and Jaguar CD and the Amiga CD
