Quad core vs 8 core

i find it really funny, dual core ha i havent really been able to push this one to its max e6400 reg not over clocked (i tryed) but the dell board wont really let me do that lol, and with a 220GT this sucker just got even faster...but for some reason it says my graphics has 3gb of memory and theres 3gb in the ram area...., idk what the heck haha a total of 6 gb kinda weird..
