Hello community

I have a HKC 550W psu and there is a problem with it i think

when i push the video card over 40% of its capacity (does not happen usually i play in 900p so the only game that made my computer turn off was Evolve) (gtx 970 g1 gaming) the computer
(i think the video card) gives odd cracking sound and the computer turns off

if i remove the card i see no problem and the card run fine before i put in a better cpu cooler
(this: arctic freezer 13) i think the psu cant handle them now so i want to buy a better (with sli in mind later)

would this be a good choise?

or this http://www.aqua.hu/seasonic-s12-ii-620w-tapegyseg-191935.html?

my budget can go from 100$ to 200$ (i hope 200 is not needed 😉 ) (if it is 100$ or under i can buy it now if not i have to wait a bit)

thanks for helping me

You want to stay with good brands over more wattage.

Check this list and get Tier 1 or 2 PSUs: http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/id-2547993/psu-tier-list.html
or here.
Standard
Bronze
Silver
Gold
Platinum
Titanium

Again, all PSUs are researched by reading professional, unbiased reviews with the correct testing equipment. Some units won't be returning, due to discontinuation and / or too old.

\Tier One
The highest quality and most stable Power Supply Units available. Protected by industrial grade protection circuitry and can output wattage at a rated maximum temperature of 50°C or below. These units are also Haswell certified, meaning they can cope with the C6 and C7 sleep states of 0.05Amps without triggering the under-current protection switch. May even go over labelled wattage and still work until it safely shuts down.

Tier Two
As above, just slightly lower quality. Still safe to use and are all stable for any PC of today's standards, including Haswell C Stepping certification and 100% Japanese Capacitors. It is rare to find a PSU here with Taiwanese Capacitors and perform very well here, but they are here just in case.

The fact you heard crackling is a strong indicator your PSU is failing, please do not use your PC until you replace that unit with a quality one. If it dies completely which it could do now even with light load it coil cause significant damage. I'm not trying to scaremonger but I wouldn't want you to loose the rest of your system.

thiese ones any good?

Any of those XFX units are good, Excellent build quality and stability.

If you can find a 550w XFX for cheaper, It would be ideal. You do not need anything more than 500w for a GTX 970 system, and 750w for a 970 SLI setup

and also has no problems when playing a bit less intensive game like dying light (also maxed) it gives strange sound but dont turn off when playing shadow of mordor (also maxed) only turns off if i play Evolve

if this is not g2 in the shop http://www.arukereso.hu/tapegyseg-c3158/evga/supernova-750w-g2-110-b1-0750-vr-p234168127/
