Query about the black magic intensity pro

Hi, I was looking at capturing PC gameplay, I've used a black magic intensity pro for about a year now to capture console gameplay, now I've seen the light and moved onto PC gaming, I'd like to know if I plugged my HDMi from a 560 ti into the capture card, would it record the output of the pc? I'd like to do this as I do not want the performance sap from FRAPS.

Also are there professional solutions to recording PC gameplay other than fraps?

SOLVED: for anyone with this issue later, it does work, set your graphics card to duplicate monitors or clone monitors and attach the HDMi (with audio) to the black magic intensity pro, then on the media express settings, select 1080i 60hz for the settings, if you have a 1920x1080 resolution monitor!
